Afghanistan -a land where all come to fight

Afghanistan is a very, very strange country. It has long history of war. Right from Chengij Khan and till recently the American. The country, Afghanistan, has been a battle field for everyone. Just to list few famous great warriors who have come to Afghanistan and fought wars:-

1. Alexander The great : He came all way from Greece and fought in the areas, now in Afghanistan around 324BC.
2. Ghajnavi : Arabs came and fought wars in Afghanistan from 600 AD to 1200 AD and by that time, Afghanistan was converted to Muslims from past Buddhists and Hindus.
3. Chengij Khan : The great Mongol warlord came all the way from Mongolia and fought wars in Afghanistan. And finally he went back without ruling this country. But he inflicted heavy loss of human lives and properties all around Afghanistan. Mongols terror lasted for almost 300 years from 1200 to 1500 AD.
4. After 1500 AD, no such foreign invasion took place, as during this period the whole world saw some peace. Industrial revolution caused Europeans dominate world market.
5. After the British captured whole of India in 1800AD, they came to Afghanistan and fought many wars. But they never could rule the country as it did whole of India.
6. After world war II, and at the height of cold war, Russian Army entered Afghanistan and started fighting with locals. They too left after 10 years of fruitless fight in 1989.
7. After Soviet Russia left, USA ( United States of America) moved in around 2003 and they are still fighting.

So, all world power come to Afghanistan to fight few wars for some reason or the other. And people from Afghanistan is fighting generation after generation.
